Nah piece of p*ss taking the covers off. Taking the proper inner bit off is a pain though as it's got a load of hex screws (I had the car in bits the other week to fit a new air filter element)

I've used wonder wheels a few times years ago (before I had the vee) that works well but is very acidic.

Looks like it come up well fella:) I spy a new front plate (cut down) on it too. You going to polish the engine up at all ?? That would look spanking of you did, also maybe get anew header tank for it ? as that oners a bit grubby. Nice motor dude & rare as too, has it got a/c in it ?
