The OE alarms are cat1 anyway (if the cars not an import) I think that all cat1 alarms are silent when you set them. The alarms that make noise aren't cat1 status. If your really worried about them wondering if you have an aftermarket alarm just get toad stickers etc from ebay.

I've never seen trendlines in a mk1, I looked a while ago at aftermarket seats & the like but found it hard to get a good match for the grey/blue ph-guff interior.

They usually charge £120 or so for it to be programmed, £75 is cheap for renault.

Course you can have 195's on 16" wheels. Where are you in the uk ?? Tbh though you don't even need to pay a load for alloys, even renalut ones still look ok.

I'd have thought to get 18's on you'd need valver arches on it. A dude on here (Phantom Clio) has a proper modded up valver on 19's ! He'd be a good person to ask about big wheels etc. I think it'll look a bit daft tbh, as massive wheesl aren't my thing.

That car used to be round my way, a dude near me had it when I had mine. It used to have 17" khans on it iirc. It did used to be a nice one too.
