I quite like the rat look. It's like most styles though really, they either pull it off, or they don't. The rat look to me is more than just having a car that looks knackered.

I think silver calipers & then do the hubs gold, the hubs aren't that noticeable really. Or if you don't like the gold just do them silver. I think that subtle is the way forward.

Silver in general is a hard colour to match. Are the scratches very deep at all ?? say if your run your fingernail over it will it catch in the scratch ??

There were 30 (I think) sunflower yellow 172's. Have a look for pics of Middos's car or Craig 172's car (i think it was him) both great examples.

Look at the number inside yuor drivers door & match it up with the paint code list, sorted. If your getting a bodyshop to do it, you don't need the code at all. Give them the bits & ask them to colour code it for you, they'll match the paint etc.
