Looks great! There is no Thumbsup icon on this site, but you're getting one :)
Re the dash, some simple all purpose cleaner on a microfibre will do you just fine. Not sure what you'll have over there, but something like a very weak soapy solution?
It's actually the heat Richy, not the waxes, unless you've heard otherwise.
A fall out remover is just that - it removes crap from the sky ;) Look into AutoSmart Fallout remover or the IronX product.
I like this comment.
If this goes anything like Jon's S/C Ph1 it's one hell of a car. Well done OP. Your own doing (Ktec conversion) or bought with it done?
Hi,
The two products you've listed are fine. However, there are more out there. Poorboys Wheel Seal is very good as well, as is the GTechniq C5.
Best thing, after a respray there is likely to be a few contaminants in the paint, so wash, clay, spray with a fallout remover, polish with a very...
I was just saying to Gally in another thread, I have the full glass kit from them, as it was part of my prize in their photo comp over on DW. But a; I've not had a chance to use it and b; suddenly thought that there is no point putting it on yet, as my glass is likely to be replaced in the start...
Oh no! Hans Blix!
Wayne, SRP is a filler/polish, so you will already being filling some swirls. The BlackHole product will give an increase to the amount of swirls that are filled, so could add to the desired effect.
As it is a glaze, it goes as follows;
Wash, clay, wash, dry, polish (SRP)...
No problem.
SRP may lessen them as it contains fillers so may fill the swirls. This is precisely what a product like Blackhole would also do.
I would go with SRP (shock horror) and then follow it up with the wax/sealant of your choice.
Point one, stay away from the brushes!
Point two, don't be afraid of abrasives - they are not as bad as they sound, IF you have a brain cell :)
What colour of paint is it? I would suggest filling the swirls, if you're not happy to remove them. Something like Blackhole, dependant on your paint...
SRP is mildly abrasive as well chap. If you want something that isn't abrasive, it's not technically a polish... it'll be more like a glaze.
What are you trying to achieve my friend, what are you after?
But just re-read that you've already got those products - does this mean you only want to use them and are therefore asking about the order in which to use them? Or are you open to some AG bashing and Dodo/A.N.Other brand praising?
Hi, sod off the lot of you, this is my thread and it makes me feel spethal.
As above though, lol!
Personally, UDS is not the best product in the world. Nor is the crystal cleaner system.
For me, Wash, either polish with Lime Prime or SRP (SRP has fillers, so will hide some of the swirls for...
