I think both are ex RUK cars, I think the start of the reg plate points to that.
Strange how my rents went to view one of them ages ago, unless it was a different 02 reg exclusive.
The was an 02 reg one on piston heads the other week. Years ago my parents went to view one at renault ilford, that car was on an 02 plate too. There's either more than two on an 02 reg or those two get about a bit.
As for a dealers trying to sell one for 8k
I would buy more yeah. I've had a valver (had it for three years) that was years ago, then moved on to the vee after a car in between.
My dad has a mk2 172. All in all none of which go wrong (touch wood)
At the end of the day if they are well mainteined etc there is no reason for them to...
I'm not convinced on the carbon pods, it could work. I quite like mine as they are on my pov spec mk1 ;) (the same colour as the car)
There was yeah, it was a cat D with a cheap rear job hence the bonnet & lack of zenons.

Tried all that, no good. Tbh I can't be bothered with messing about with it any more.
CoCo_CLio_Army - cheers for the offer, i'm probably just going to get one of the kids from next door to do it.
They want £70 to come & install a wireless connection, i've tried to do it myself, but I can't do it. I've sort of done it but them it goes a bit wrong :dapprove:
I'm probably just going to give one of my neighburs kids a score to come & do it for me:)
The thing that annoyed me was, on...

Shame the ad's a bit naff. I like the fact that the still has the factory look to it too (once the boots shut lol) :) The lexus lights look pap, but they're a five minute job to replace.
Open the drivers door, the number is on the white sticker, probably on the last line. It'll be three numbers eg, 432 - not those number though as that's monaco blue.
When you have the number your local car paint shop (or renault) will be able to make the paint up for you, or supply you with a...
I used black hammerite smooth to do mine. I wire brushed the areas up inc the calipers. Painted them up, left them about an hour before I put the second coat on. Then left them overnight before I put the wheels back on the car.
Hammerite smooth was about a fiver from B&Q the paint brush was...
