Also had this problem, but it always start the 2nd time, and it only happens once in a blue moon so it hasnt bothered me.
Ps. It doesnt matter how long you crank the engine for when it happens, I cranked the engine for about 10-15 seconds and it didnt start. stopped turning it and immediatly...
why ? I know a lot of people dont like them, and on a couple of occasions I have had to interject, but 99% of the time they are dead on, make sure you turn the sensitivity dial to a suitable setting though.
Lol people on cliosport have known this for quite a while.. he probably just told you the Cup was comming to and end to try and get a sale, selling the Cup with all the options at an extra sound most likely.
Daz is correct (for once ;))
The frequency of the relay which controls the rate of the indicators are determined by the combined resistence of the bulbs, hence when a bulb goes they flash faster (less resistence).
The hazards must work on a different (timed relay) for safety eg. youve broken...
Mk2 everything except its weight which would be the same as mk1.
RE: what admits said, I walked out to my car last night after just cleaning it all up and though to myself im really lucky to own this car.. !
this was posted before, apparently it can actually damage the engine cause it makes the car run too rich or somthing, deffinatly take it out if I were you !
Other than an initial problem with the timing sensor all you have is a few squeaks.. nothing much to complain about as most cars come with a lot more wrong than this. The alarm will get sorted. Once you get past the few niggles of a new car you will love the car not loathe it.
Yep, I keep thinking every white car on the road is purple when I pull up behind them..
I get people flashing me now and again, they usually have their fogs on though ..
