Useless Tip #1:
For that extra cold nadgers sensation, switch the car onto recirculate when you have the aircon on, that way its cooling the already cooler air.

Where did you get those times from ? have a look at my 0-60 and 0-100...
Basically the Cup is .1 of a second quicker to 60 than the 172..
I owning a 172 would get to 60mph 0.1 of a second slower but in my nice half leather/alcantara climate controled, heat reflective windscreened (with proper thickness glass) car.. and with it being night time, I will spot the...

Well I pondered this for the Mk2 172 and the best I could come up with was to buy the fold away in dash one.
Not much help I know but you might want to consider it.
If it really bothers you get the 4 pot callipers.. then we will hear you moan that you cant press the brake pedal at all for fear of flying through the front window.
I think k-tec are working on a performance cat for the mk2 172 6-8bhp gains or somthing like that. That way you wont have to chuck the cat back on come MOT time.

thats nothing, I had a 2 million candle power...seriously..
unfortunatly it started making some funny noises and melted, was kewl when it worked though.
its not that easy to forget, you will have 1/2 lights on your dash reminding you..
Plus everone will be giving you the universal w**ker sign as you drive past..
oh and fog lights are only if visibility is reduced to less than 100yards not just if there is a bit of fog in the air.
I have owned a 205 GTi, which was lowered 30mm, I can comfortably say its the best handling car that I have driven. There was nothing I could do to unseat the car from the road..
well apart from this one time when the road was really bumpy round a sharp corner at 60mph with stiffened...
