Yeah, cache is the main difference in the notebooks, the i5 and i7 are much closer in 'real world' performance than the i7 in my iMac.

Yeah, don't get me wrong, my i7 iMac is the better machine, and it makes a big difference over the i5 on heavy applications because of the overclocking feature. The boot times are also way faster on my i7 iMac, than the i5 MBP. But some of that's down to the slower 5400rpm drive in my MBP...

Remove the stickers and get the wheels refurbished in anthracite and it'll be even better. Looks great!
