I used to get at least 1 "your are parked illegally" sticker on my window every day from the security in my work.
Thing is I left my parking space cause I was going to another campus on work business, so I didnt give a sh*t, eventually it started getting to me though so I went to see head of...

The Cup is a fantastic car, great value for your dosh..
In a way its a pitty though, I wont look at Cups the same way (a raw race/trackday car stripped down to bar essentials) it will just be oh .. another 172 ... which they essentially are with all the extras added on.
Didnt someone say...
what about your HU ? does that work with your lights off.
somehow somewhere you must have the lighting wire that goes to your headunit in the wrong place. does you HU loose its memory when turn the car off and come back later ? does your HU stay on even after you have turned of the acc...
well if you are sure that you have the remote wired up correctly then the only other thing it could be would be the main amp power.
where have you connected the main 12v supply to the amp ?
your link doesnt work but at a guess do you have your amp remote lead wired up to the lighting wire at the back of your headunit.
you know the wire I mean.. the one that makes your HU dim a bit when you put your lights on ?
you want to wire up the amp remote lead to the amp remote out lead...
well, I lost the back end of my 172 going at about 20 mph round a corner in the wet.. bloody cobbles, I did however instinctivly counter steer it and bring it back into shape.
2nd time I lost the back end I did it on purpose... well actually I just decided to go into a 90 degree corner really...
oversteer is when you loose the backend, it shouldnt cause the steering to feel like thin air though
Power steering in its very nature nullifies the feedback from the car, its is unfortunate in most cases, but I prefer it in the long run for parking etc..
Nah, I did my research into it, it should be alright. I am only gonna put a 5400rpm hdd in it and it will be alright.
If its switched off then the HDD is fine all the way up to massive shocks eg small cliffs.
but when its on you are right it might be a bit sensitive, givin that its illegal...
ye a copy of this article would be handy as I missed it ..
I tell you something, ALL 4 of the new speed cameras have nothing to do with safety whatsoever, there have only been two fatal car crashes recently around my area.
One was a joyrider who had nicked someones car, lost control and hit...
Ive been working out watts/amps etc usage in my car an trying to see how long I can run the xbox + hu/screen for.
The xbox pulls 100w which means i am going to buy an 150w dc/ac inverter.
now for every 10w of 240v power, its 1amp. I check the battery in the 172 and it is a 47ah battery which...
Ye, its gonna be well cool.. very geeky too ;)

No, the idea of the wireless is that I dont have to take the box out of the boot everytime I want to put new mp3z and movies onto it..
The range is about 25m at worst, at 11mpbs, but if the speed is dropped down to 2mbps and there isnt much between the WAP and the box then you could get up to...
I only gone and reserved myself an Alpine CVA-1003r, never owned anything by alpine before (and I am getting a bloody good price on it)
