Ye the clios have a long anit-corosion warranty.. but is only covered if it corodes from the inside out.. not from the outside in.. or somthing stupid like that. but It sounds like you will be covered..

Thx, I didnt really think a silver car could look really shiny.. I can only imagine what a black car would look like with all three stages applied. As an avid Autoglym user I can deffinatly say Meguirs is much better, Infact I gave my autoglym stuff to my mum told her I didnt need it anymore.

Ye when I took those pics it wasnt really that sunny.. the pics really dont do it justice though, as when you move around the car the relfection change and gives you a real depth look to the shine. :D Stage 1 was a nightmare for me though.. hard to put on, harder to take off. I probably left...

looks like the guy either didnt use plastic primer for the bump strips or didnt key/clean the plastic properly. The paint runs are a very amaturish thing to see, the guy was clearly a novice/imbicil..there should never be too much paint on one coat to cause runs.

Ye you wont be disapointed but you will have a sore right arm, it total to do step 1 - 3 (step 1-2 it was just myself doing it) took about 9 hours.. including washing the car 3 times.. (dont ask) and cleaning the alloys and tyres etc. just gonna try and get those pics across now from my camera..

I do.. I took some after.. wasnt very sunny but I will post them up tommorow.. I was impressed with it.. the car has a wet look to it now, put it this way my silver 172 now looks very shiney..if you were to do it to a black car it would be like a mirror.

Face, Just to let you know, I finally got round to finished my car today with the meguirs stuff. Looks really wet and shiney now.. feels like glass to touch it so smooth. The carnuba wax goes on really easy and is even easier to take off.. chuffed cause my car looks really shiney now, oh...

ditto, i was just out today completing stage 2 and 3 of the meguirs stuff.. and used some autoglym to take away "overspray" .. worked a treat.

had my 2002 mk2 172 for over 6 months now.. Had the aircon fixed under warranty (leaked the gas, 2 pipes replaced) Bit of paint peeled under a wheel arch fixed under warranty Knocking noise under hard acceleration, dealer couldnt fix (fixed it myself by fitting 2 toyo proxes to the front)...

hmm never had that problem myself.. but i agree with mike .. it will be hard work trying to do it.

2002 172 and I have a change light... it is a bit out of the way . but you can still see it if you looking straight ahead. In first gear it comes to quick to change when you see it you got to guess really, but 2nd 3rd etc. if you change on the light IMO you get the fastest acceleration.

what were the bad points for the clio the cooper and the mg then ? cause i missed it !
