Hi mate welcome to the club..

Deffo get a 172 they are awesome (okay slightly biased) and deffo make it silver (again might be biased)
172loony.. you have to poke the newbies its tradition..
just be sure to read the power consumption and check the fuse rating of that line in the fusebox to make sure you will be okay.
basically if the fuse blows you have too much current running through that line, and you would need to look at thicker AWG cables.
Ye my GF really likes the xbox too.. even more now she can play it in the car heh..
some more images to wet your appetites..
the custom dash..

Xbox Media Player...
Ye the fuse will blow before enough current goes through it to cause damage (provided you have fitted the correct fuse)
most electrical car fires are cause by insufficient guage wire.
thats what the fuse is there for bud ;) and thats why you put it next to the battery.
If the 12+ 8 Awg cable touches the body of the car through whatever means the fuse will blow pronto.
They probably had their credit cards debited there and then so they were entitled to them at that price.
it happend on another big site too kodak or somthing.. they too had to honour the agreement.
Let me know how you get on with the speed bumps.. I am really considering this now..
Whats the ride quality like, obviously I am expecting it to be a bit harder but is the handling and body roll a lot better..
And for the mechanics on here how easy a job is it to fit and adjust the torsion...
Ye probably best..
I actually started laughing when I noticed it missing.. cause I had heard about them falling out on the forums..
I think there should be a renault recall for "deffective washer balls"
LOL
sounds like something a dealers would say..
maybe you got some dodgy fuel.. maybe your timing needs adjusted..
I use optimax all the time too and havent had any problems.
ideally yes,
drill a hole if you can then seal it once the cable is through with silicone sealent.
Or you could try the old nitting needle .. sometimes works depending on how thick the grommet is.
If you dont replace the grommit you will get a lot of engine noise.. its actually unbelievable just how much noise can come through a tiny hole.
Unfortunaly for the 172 anyway its not as easy as it sounds.. I tried it that way and there seemed to be some kinda box it went into.. or it got...
lmfao...
my one just popped out a week ago.. dunno where to fook it is though !!
anyone know how much they are and if they only sell them in twos etc.. cause I only need one (just now)
dunno but I noticed today that it isnt just the cups comming with clear ones now.. the silver 172 they had on display also had them..
looks better. think i will order some too but I heard they are a bugger to fit.
Np mate,
A bit more detail.
When the HU goes on it sends 12v through the remote cable, the amp senses the voltage and activates a relay which pulls the big voltage from the main cable direct from your battery, make sure you are using suitable gauge cable 12AWG or simmilar should be fine...
The big power cable goes straight from the amp to the battery, you should have an amp remote out on your HU, this connects to the remote in ont he amp.
That way the amp only powers up when your HU is on
nice scooby..
