2. very possibly but the best way to eliminate the high notes is to just put a filter inline.
its a number assinged to your computer when you go on the internet. It is unique in that no other person on the internet will have the same number as you at the same time.
it looks a bit like 123.123.123.123 none of the numbers in each group can go higher than 256 for example 123.123.300.123...

In a lowered car it will ofter handle much better .. retaining grip for longer periods, the downside however is when the tyres do let go the do so suddenly.. not progressivly like on a normal car where you can predict how much slide your going to get from a tyre..

Did you get the correct offset ? maybe if you take out the rubber sh*t gaurds it will stop it causing rubbing.
but if you are gonna upgrade to 5" subs then
a) you would need a crossover of filter to block out the high notes
b) you wouldnt get enough power from the HU to power the subs.. you would need to amp them in which case you would be better of with line level outputs, in which case you may...
