I already decided if the 4k buzz happend to me (it was replaced b4 i got the car) that I would just put a performance zorst on and keep the cat etc for MOT time.
I think cars fitted with a Cat after 93 have to have them fitted at MOT time .. either that or you car has to pass the same...
yes as I said in the diagram above the red connecter either went to the yellow one (which it obviously isnt the same size so not that one) or straight to the back of the HUD display which as tom says requires the removal of the dash..

I got a 2 Toyos recently (of the proxes variety) they have proved to be far superior to the original contis .. but I have never tried the F1s or the P6000s so I cant compare.
