Cheers Naith.
Warren, I agree mate, think it will suit my requirements very well. I love driving it. Even just sitting in traffic it really is a joy. Soooo nice to have a manual again as well!
Judging by current quotes, I think that will be the likely route Naith matey.
You are booked in whenever you want because of recent texts and ongoing help matey, FOC.
I think they would finish it off nicely Roy.
Rob, not bad, better than anything else I had been looking into (Z3M, M3 and R32). 4NCB, 23, 3 points came out as 700.
Nothing much chap. Needs a serious detail. Simple things like new wipers, side lights to tie in colour wise, small part respraying. That's about it. Probably a remap and maybe a set of these alloys;
Thanks for the comments ladies and gents.
Chris, lol, I do. But solid was what I was after :)
Kneel, of course lad, looking forward to a catch up, been a while!
s**t light, tripod broke, heavily swirled.
But not a mark on her, save for a 50p sized piece of paint bubble on the rear boot trim (quoted circa 100 to fix and bargained into the price).
67k miles. 51 plate. Full leather Recaros. 225 BAM engine. Totally standard and with FASH. Private plate...
All I can do is try like you say. FASH, usual go to the press threat over 12 year warranty etc. See what fuss bringing dad in will create, plus have a lad who works there under the director.
May come to nothing, but I love arguing and actually get enjoyment out of it, so will see how I get on ;)
Already on the case but getting quotes to go to them with Ste.
Laura, when the R8 had a chip on the rear, dad played nice for about 2 weeks. Then customer services director email, then letter, then call. Finally got it sorted :)
In a precise manner, the is a 50p sized piece of bubbling on the...
Hmmm, maybe hit and miss. Thanks for the input though :)
Macc Audi just told me to forget Audi even touching it, even with the supposed warranty. They said because it was trim, it would not be covered. Amazed. Not.
Usually a busy man DrG, give him time/send another. I know he gets a lot of PMs, but he is really well worth waiting for an answer from.
Edit; that last sentence makes absolutely no sense what so ever.
Wonderful thing supplied with it, owner bought it from Audi, it's a boot liner with velcro to attach securely to the material in the boot. Bloody good!
But like you say, don't want to put the rear seats down and fill with brushes, buckets etc and like you say Jim, scratch something.
Decent ones ladies and gents, good experiences, just so I can ring around, find best price, but out of the trusted ones.
Only a tiny amount needs doing (boot trim above numberplate).
Cheers.
Audi; £243 - would keep with Audi service/receipts history
Cheshire Auto; £100 + part @ £67 - best so...
Totally agree on the correction rather than detail. Most people interested in this sort of thing only require this, as they quite fancy doing the rest (tyres, interior, wheels, plastics) themselves.
I could, but not Karcher etc. And like to know I have water pressure and a local zap supply...
I haven't Dan, it hasn't had any time spent on it at all. Not even a jet wash down. Nor have I had time to actually get the camera out! Promise I will soon.
