nice.. i always liked the look of multispoke alloys on the clio, but i thought about how long it takes me to clean the standard ones and quickly changed my mind
not handy no.. I dunno what it is about them.. i just think they would work.. I might get a side on pic of me mota and photoshop them on.. it would be 17" ones btw.. cause 17" just fills the clios arches perfectly.
I dont think the 172 wheel are naff, but they certainly arent the best alloys ever made.
If they werent all kerbed I probably wouldnt be thinking of replacing them. BUT as they are all kerbed what better excuse than to get a new set ;)
My favourite at the moment (as everyone has supper ls)...
fit them myself.. no chance.. im taking them to my local garage or to halfords/ripspeed as they were recommended by someone.. i forget who. might have been Rich-D
plus my alloys were already a bit kerbed when i got it.. so I aint to worried as they will be getting replaced.
still its a hell of a lot cheaper than buying the renault ones.. (and less likely to fall apart again i hope)
i am all membered up already.. damn those posties.. i am waiting for them to be delivered to you and my toyos to be delivered to me.. they must just keep it all in a wharehouse for a...
well i will be joining the ranks of the 1.2 owners for 3 days. as I drive about in my 1.2 dynamique hehe (just found out thats what I will be getting).. they didnt have any 172s for loan.. damn.
actually I really hate the look of the new meganes so i would rather have the clio 1.2 dymanique
cheap looking is the correct words.. cheap .. no...
Everyone get yourselfs a set of the cliosport mats as soon as it arrives and the pics are up.. or have they already been up ? have I missed them cause its taking a while..
Wow, i didnt realise that the mk1 was beaten by the mk2, and not by a small margin I might add... maybe the mark1 was one of the underpowered ones that seem to come out the factory now and again.
although i think the mk2 is geared better to combat the extra weight.
I will probably get slated for this but I actually prefer the mk2 172 without the splitter.
I think it spoils the smoothness of the front end. I think if it was painted then it would look better. But that is deffinatly one mod I wont do to my car. I am not sure whether it would look good on...
