Nope. Use towel, place in hot water, ring out water, use. All you are doing is replacing the cold water from the car, with warm water from the bucket.

Yeah mate, I know that's the worst part. You need warm water to wring the towel out with mate. Bucket of warm water, after using the towel on the car, dip it in the warm water then ring it out. Should save your hands from frost bite!

No idea on price, but was less than 10 per can for me. I used about two cans of paint and two cans of lacquer/primer on side bump strips IIRC.

Hi Gazz, When I was colour coding I also DIY'd it. I went into Halfords and they mixed up the paint there and then. Colour match was spot on. I took my time and the results were perfect. Actually better than a repair body shop after my car got scraped. I think the cans were 300 or 500 ml...

Jason. I went from a Blackberry to an iPhone (granted their worst blackberry possible). I won't be going back. I want touch screen, lots of easy to use, decent apps and a map/route finder that works. No other phone currently offers this.

Agreed about the "public transport eww" comment. But then again, if you were that worried about parking/congestion charge/MPG etc, you would use it. As 75% of Landaners currently do.

Fair enough he wants a new car. But if the OP is worried about parking spaces, cycle/walk/use public transport or a taxi. When I go to London, I train it. When I go to a small town or village, I'll drive. Depends on what the OP is looking for. Still can't get over 13.5k.

Have to agree with Craigus and Dave; It's brand new, which means massive depreciation It's tiny, so 13.5k for that is hilarious It might be economical, but so is a 306 HDI If people are worried about travelling in London or large cities with parking, tolls and MPG, why not follow everyone else...
