I think that you will be able to remove the glue, but it will be a pain. Whoever stuck them on doesn't seem to have a clue.

To make it look like one you'll need, the wheels & possibly spacers, both bumpers, sideskirts, front wings, grilles & the badges. You'll also need the interior too (all seats, steering wheel etc) Plus probably some other bits i've missed off. Once you've done all that you'll still have a car...

Yeah do watch out if your looking to buy them from ebay, loads of snides on there - the price is the main giveaway though, you can't get Phillips Silvervisions for £2.99 !!! Also beware of ones which say 'silvervision style' are they too are snides.

It seems a good price to me, although i'd rather have a normal 182 with both cup packs on it.

I like the wheels on that bluey/greeny clio, they look quite smart.

Your looking at about £140.00 for one from renault if it hasn't got one on it - good bargaining tool too. The gti looks nice, I like the mods you've done to it they seem good to me:) I'd go for a spin in a 172 cup & go from there.

The lack of service history would put me off straight away tbh, there is no way I would ever call up let alone see a car with out it. If you have invoices/bills for any work done say that in the advert, if you've had it serviced by a local garage say that in the ad.

From reading the stories above it's no wonder people don't want to take their cars to the stealers. At least speacialists know what they are doing !

Ok so the vee should have had more power to back up it's looks & all that - they cost 27k new - from what i've read that golf will cost about three times as much. So it's not really fair to compare the two really.

What about the bumper though ?? That's left wide open for stone chips. The best way not to get any is not to sit so close to the car in front of you. I'm a bra hater, they look pap tbh - you have to drive round with them on all the time otherwise there is no point to them.
