Bit of an update.
Since my disaster yesterday with the save file corrupting (see previous page) I've started again. Really glad I did actually.
On my first game I took a load of quests and left a few unfinished. This time I've been trying to clear them before moving on. lol.
Did the usual...
The Nightkins are easy enough with the 10mm Pistol. Makes light, single-shot work of regular Ghouls, too.
I've just done them... for the second time. :( lol
Some more news I've just found.
The patch will sort the corrupted file issue out, but it'll also mean you can now load your previously corrupted files. Which is good news for me, I guess.
I just need to wait for the patch before I can play it again. Which sucks balls.
And it wasn't 18 hours...
Bethesda are working on it, apparently.

18 hours in an my save file is corrupted. Seriously pissed off. Seriously.
"This save game relies on DLC content that is no longer available. Some objects may be not longer available"
Then I continue past that message and get...
"The storage device you selected is no longer available. Load...
