I was on multiplayer last night with Chris and Alex and it was amazing. We only played Melbourne Park and Spa, but the quali really adds to the build up when you're racing with friends.
All our quali laps were within two hundredths of each other, too.
You really can't drive this game at eight...
I used to be a GT fanboy, and had an opinion much like yours. Forza 2 changed that, and Forza 3 further distanced itself from GT's awful physics.
A GT4/5P player wouldn't undestand the feeling of pushing a car beyond the tyre's grip because GT4/5P simply doesn't simulate it. Nothing gets close...
Such an awesome game, but F1 is all about the timings. Working all race to pass cars, only to be bumped down the field at the final standings is terrible. I'm gutted. :(
Still love the game though, and I'm still playing it loads.
