Yeah, I think so. Firstly, soak... and I mean soak the belts in warm water. Then use a clean nail brush with neat AG Interior. Worked a treat for me.

It's still the best magazine about, IMO. 9/10 people with the sticker are genuine enthusiasts, and not pikeys. I've had one on all my cars since I started driving. The police don't even pull me over for it, either. ;) I'll take the risk about the plates though... I need them to be removable.

Dephaser pulley. Very common, unfortunately. Cambelt/Accessory belt off to do the replacement, too. ~£600. It's only audible at idle, like you say. Once you get oil pressure up, it stops.
