if you look on the clocks end of the speedo cable, you will see 3 wires going to a white connector. yellow white and black.
splice into the black, and earth it to the bodywork somewhere, which is adding another earth...

update from today....
seat bars all welded in, few other bits tidied up. drivers seat fitted, standard seatbelt (gotta drive to get some eyelets for the harnesses, lol)...also swapped the alternator from the blue one to the hybrid, no more squeeking now :)...

more done today....seat bars finally got level and to the right profile after a bit of playing around, just need welding now...
They are 3mm sheet steel bent to the shape of a channel, then shaped to fit...

hubs/brakes/wishbones/driveshafts will fit onto the valver subframe no probs
ARB wont fit, subframe wont i dont think (not 100% though)
Gearbox will fit with a bit of modification, mount needs one hole drilling to fit chassis IIRC

Bit of an update, spent from 10am-7pm today on it....
Engine bay sorted nearly (Bar elbow for induction)...
As there is no wiring inside (mostly) now, the bits that are needed some through this grommet...
The extent of my 'custom' loom, about 4 runs...

yeah, i think they most definatley are....its the same on valver/williams
valver rack isnt really wide enough to take the williams widetrack, but saying that 90% of people just wind the track rod ends out until its long enough....hardly any thread remains holding it in though, not ideal...
