The lower model you quoted will be more than enough for a notebook, trust me. If you use Photoshop or any of the suite, like I do; RAM will be a greater limiting factor before the processor.

Cheers, yeah some of those posted are fugly. :( My theme is iPad background, Glasklart icons, then Shrink applied @ 70% to all icons. Few more bits and pieces added to delete elements in the lockscreen, and apply the theme to the battery charge screen. Clean FTW. It ruins the phone having it...
