Forearms is here, what did I miss?
Becca, facebook status FTW.
Lil H, welcome to the club, nice car, great taste in cars. What do you go for in guys*?
*straight to the point, let's be honest.
Think which part see's the most action when sealing/polishing/waxing . . .
The edges, you go over most parts twice, i.e. back and forth, hence there are no droplets on the edges of the above bonnet . . . ;)
edit; yes it's sad that I know these things . . .
Just to add in here, something like AG bumper care is a finishing product. The reason cars are masked up prior to polishing is because it's a barsteward trying to get white stains out (yes I know how that sounds).
As Ali has said, some simple linseed oil works a treat. The peanut butter trick...
The AG bumper care requires VERY little on a cloth or applicator pad. Seriously gungey stuff. Never been keen but does the job well. Looking to try out a few lighter products.
I accept bribes . . .
Ali, hadn't realised that Swissvax had stopped using dealers all together? I had thought it had just been controlled a little bit more.
Hand wash at this end, leave to soak, dry naturally. Makes them last a lot longer!
Machine de-charges them, meaning they don't cling to the dust as well.
I have not fella, Mike (bifcaids) is going to let me sample some of their foam and that will dictate me spending any money on other tester products.
Good things shown I take it?
Megs clay isn't bad, but isn't the best.
It depends how much you dilute it I guess, have only used it in this way twice (after running out of general QD/lube).
I really don't think I will need the CG Citrus. I do so little motorway driving, it is really only useful for cutting through the grime film . . . never builds up on mine, as much as I would occasionally like it to! Megs Gold Class barely suds on mine!!
I found the Megs to be incredibly oily, but may be helpful on Beemer paint . . .
Glad I changed to Menz for the clio, the 80/83 twins from Megs just didn't cut it.
edit; no pun intended.
