They are generally very very good items, Richy, so I wouldn't worry. I just know that I will be keeping it for a long time, and it will be over used. So I tend to buy for the future, much like with most of my detailing bits and pieces (bulk buying/saving pennies where ever I can).
Good man Mike (and Richy, little slow ;))
Luke; for matts:
Take out of car and bash them to remove dust
Hoover with the brush attachment
Spray with a foaming interior cleaner and aggitate with my interior brush
Leave for 15 mins to work in
Hoover off with normal attachment tube
^^^The AG stuff (white spray right?) will be chucked as soon as you change up to Blackfire. It lasts sooo much longer and gives a totally different look as well, a real depth. The AG is only good for shows, I find. For the price and ease of purchase, I would buy Megs Endurance Gel or even Hot...
We had one years ago, basic drag along one. Went wrong eventually and was told it wasn't worth/possible to fix it. So this time just went out and bought one we wanted, shopped around for best price circa 150-200 quid.
Btw, that info is from Karcher shop in Stockport area, so coming directly...
Basically lad, the main thing to look out for is the fact that the motors on certain lines of Karchers cannot be replaced.
You have a decent budget which is good. You need to go for a 3 series or above;

This means that if the motor...
There are quite a few recent threads on PWs, Piers mate. Have a search. Vacuum wise, I find that they are pretty much all the same. I have about three of the damn things from mum's old ones!
I use AG Bumper Care, but sometime find that it is too clumpy/thick and needs to be used in extra small amounts/buff it off afterwards as well.
Their vinyl care stuff is good for window rubbers, but again, I am currently in the process of trying out a vast array of new products from sellers...
It will have some sort of polymer technology in it that reflects light better (like grease or oil being shiny on the surface of water).
So not great, let's be honest . . . !
Won't last that long chap. Arches are plastic and therefore require something more atuned to that material. AG bumper care is just fine. Mine is too low to see the arches anyway ;)
I toyed with the same idea, look dirty again within a couple of days motorway driving.
^^^If you have too ;) twice!
Foxy's was the best IMO, he sanded the spare wheel upright bolt back, put one in the actual well and made it so he lost no boot space what so ever . . . very nicely done and considered it myself once or twice!
Same which is a bonus. Have carpet cleaned my matts once or twice when they have come round to do the house, but other than that, not rreally any need :)
There is absolutely no reason for this (apart from a free sample that I got through from Autopia that was awful) but I just don't like most sonus products. I find them to be the cheaper end of the spectrum, but not that cheap!!
^^^Always done this, but tbh, if I drop the clay bar, I generally try not to use it again. My driveway is a scatter stoned type of reddish tarmac, so really easy to get stones on anything you put down!
Agreed Stephen, tbh for a starter pack, the Megs Smooth Clay Kit is jolly good. Think it is around 20 pounds in Halfords.

The above is probably your best bet Richy.
