Yeah I've always sprayed it on a panel at a time then "shocked" it into the paint with the pressure washer on full bore then rinsed.

Depends how you use the car I guess, they shine through on a hot trackday compared to standard. Also a 197 master cylinder gives you a much better feel over the standard 1*2 setup.

Ah right yeah there more difficult without the tool. If you've got a angle grinder spanner give that a try.

It winds in just find something to stick in the notches, easier with the tool like screwfix do one I think.

Sounds like a dodgy earth strap/wire to me, I'd check that first before you swap the alternator.

Small pair of molegrips usually works. Yeah bolt will be fine but with a couple of washers to spread the load.

Stick a feeler gauge in with the horse shoe on the inlet to take the pressure off. once it’s tightened up your tool should slide side to side.(y)

Sounds like a sensor to me you can usually feel the rings through the pedal if they've split.
