From sony themselves: PS3 is 25% better than Sony 1st gen Blu-Ray player. But the new 2nd gen player is 40% better than PS3. And sony's are damn gd blu-ray players.
Thats a top reason for getting a PS3 alone.
Bought my car when it was 8yrs old (36k miles) and had no idea if cambelt had ever been changed so was had it done within in a month, £160 isn't much for peace of mind. Aren't they around £500-1k to get engine sorted after they go?
Wonder how many ppl are going to get their cambelts changed...
Mileage is nothing on that. Had an H reg 518i do over £250k with no probs. Started first time everytime.
Looking for a 323i coupe in 6 months, shame your selling now.
Similar set up to what's in my car, I used superstrong strength velcro to stick my sub and amp to the boot floorboard. A few quid from Halfords. Really is strong stuff, make sure you're dead cert about positiong 1st cos its a b**ch to move!
And secure it down ASAP after you've wired up and...
Yours sounds about right. My 1.4 is 8v so about same power to yours and mine does around 70-something in 3rd. I don't normally thrash to red line tho, seems faster to change just after 5k.
I thought about getting a powercap cos my sub kept cutting out, but decided just to uprate my battery. 40A to 60A battery made all the difference on mine. Never cut out since and aren't batteries cheaper??
I'd be careful paying the damage personally. After my 1st accident, the woman I hit started going on about charging us for her physiotherapy and depreciation in her cavalier. If they claim injury, they could sue you for a lot. When she asked for injury money, my Dad told her to f**k off and do...
My uncle was hit from behind by a hit and run. Not sure if he got her Reg but she was caught and he got his car fixed and injury money for whiplash. Follow it up, don't let the police drop it!
When I was 18, the insurance on my mk2 ph1 1.4 rt was nearly £2k (1yrs experience but accident at my fault and 3 points) so £1400 isn't bad tbh. Try elephant and try Norwich Union if you have pass plus. NW normally have higher quotes but I got a 50% discount with pass plus! RAC are good too...
If it doesn't buzz when you hold the inner cone bit, Id say there's a prob with the speaker. When you hold the cone, you're stopping the speaker from doing its job (ie. vibrate) so it definitely shouldn't buzz. I'd talk to the seller tbh, possibly damaged in transport? Or have you dropped them...
Oh, well if they have just been fitted, I'd double check all the connections. Make sure your negatives and positives are the correct way. If they are brand new, speakers need time to settle in till they sound best, but if they are set-up correctly buzzing and vibrating usually means broken...
Always happened or just suddenly?
With probs like that I don't know if they can be fixed tbh, they sound blown. Be unusual for a loose connection to casue vibrating and buzzing. If they are blown, buy some speakers online and fit yourself. Only prob I can think of is you'll need an allen key...
I was told an upgrade is in month 10 of a 12 month contract, or 14 or an 18 month contract. I don't know if I'd ever upgrade tho 'cos there are lots of good deals around, esp as my contract expires just after new year.
Normally the'y ask for payment of all the remainings months on contract...
But if someone crashes into you, then you wont get your excess until they accept liability. A grand is a lot to me and no way I'd be able to get back on the road without it. Although my car is less worth than £2k and I'm a student with no savings :(
That's so stupid!
Add your dad AND your mum on your policy for even more savings!
1st couple of years my excess was around £400 but thats only cos that was minimum for young drivers, £750 is just far too much risk imo.
Good luck with this Hixxey!
I had an accident a couple of years ago and it was clearly her fault, even the police on the scene said so, but she didn't admit, made up 2 false excuses to say I was in the wrong and only finally gave in when the police report was published stating she was at...

Either put in the 0870/0845 number or the company name and you get a freephone or geographical number. I think 0800 numbers are chargeable on mobiles, but are free from landlines so no problem.
I've been using it for a few...
30bhp difference between a 1.4 and a 1.5 dCi....could you live with that? I have the 1.4 8v with 75bhp and tbh its not great, have to rev it hard for just decent acceleration.
Mines pretty low too. Average around 30 but I hammer my car around a lot and sitting at 4-5k rpm for 20mins down the...
Thank god! Was thinking maybe time to get rid, esp as exhaust is getting loud, brakes need replacing and who knows what else and by that guide above, it'd be cheaper spending more money on a newer faster car.
Cheers Evil Ally. Just seen a kit to play imports, may try some my dodgy mates to try and just get it chipped instead. Then find a US version. Efforts :(
