Saw them tonight at the Heathway station in Dagenham at about 9.30 Silver 02 reg mk1 vee followed by an X reg 172 X*** JLC, with a magnex exhaust. The 172 was sitting about 2 inches off the vee's bumper ! Any one on here?

just out of interest, whats the 0-100 on the mk1 vee. edit - just listened to the sound clip & they sound great, I know some one who had one with a k tec induction kit & it sounded mint.

yep its too much, you can get mint ones of the same year & mileage etc for under 8k.

here you are, I sold it last July 100% standard with factory leather. I will prob get another one one day, prob a hybrid.

When i got my valver at 21 with no ncd it was £1200 f/c, next year it was £800 then it was £440 !!!! sweet !!!! On my Fiat coupe i pay £800 f/c (its group 20) so a really good quote. I was 24 when I got it with 3yrs ncd & 0 points etc. Thats with Elephant, who i'v been with for a few years now.

why are both the number plates white ? is that down to a cr*p camera? Also I sse it starts out with HN53 ... don't renault press cars begin with those letters ?

The car looks a cracking example of an early valver, the red looks still errr Red !!! & not pink ! I must be the only person on here though who doesn't like turbines, I prefer phase 2 valver wheels.

Mike @ rentech fitted it to his 172, there are a few pics knocking about on here. Failing that my dad has it in his 172, but he's at work now, so I can't get a pic, if no one get a pic i'll try & get a few for you.

tbh i think the side skirts would look better if they were straight (not going up at the end) The spoiler looks spot on. As above - lose the rear light brows. It does look a really clean car though.

You could only get green phase 1 valvers, as you say silver is rare too, you could get silver on both phases - silver is still rare though. Valvers with factory leather are rare too.

172 @ 19 ! thats good going ! also that must be one of the first mk2 172's, it looks nice.
