your car is sports blue mate, paint code 449, the later valvers (n reg ones) are monaco blue, paint code 432.
your car will only be monaco blue if it its had a respray.
the code is on the metal plate above the drivers headlight (under the bonnet) the code is the three digits on the bottom line.
