used SRP each time i polish her, on all windows, works a treat on rears and sides, but the front has been bashed with so many stones and grit pieces over the years, it does look a little tired :(
chris' white replica had this problem, i took to it with a very soft bristle brush before any detailing had started to ensure i did not put back scratches that i had removed with PCing.

light a fire underneath the bolt and heat it off
note, using WD40 with this is not a good idea. . . . nor is it a good idea if your fuel tank is near the bolt ;)
my belt went on my 1.2 16v and was no damage to the cambelt. pretty sure you are safe but do not take the risk, either get someone out or get it down to a garage

as long as all work and show the brake/fog/side lights the same they will be fine.

look behind the rear lights in the boot, there are two screw bolts that are easy to find (star shaped tops).
