Dunc's a good lad. Had an S13 as well IIRC.
The Uno Turbo community is small but fairly lively, the same bunch of lads have been around for over 10 years now.
I nearly bought a red mk1 turbo shell recently but had nowhere to put it : (

TPFT is a lower level of cover, therefore should be cheaper. With the birth of price comparison sites working from hateful statistics, some insurers now change more for TPFT than Comp cover.

It's a dangerous place but like is obviously appeal to even a part-time petrolhead. We've had a £multi-million claim from the ring and our guy didn't even crash! It also lost us one of our schemes unfortunately.
Almost every question you get asked at quotation stage can effect the price you pay.
Different Insurers calculate things differently but it is all based on statistics.
A good specialist insurer will look at the bigger picture but a computer system will offer a base rate and then often...
Thanks JD.
I just wanted to explain the 14 day cooling off period on the public forum as a lot of people do not understand it fully. As most will understand, we are a business at the end of the day, if a customer instructs us to do some work, we are entitled to charge and will do so, as would...

I agree 100% but they are not far off so with a bit of work it should be raised to the acceptable payout. Salvage value (if available) will also rise.
Happened to my mum, twice.
1) Ford escort (was up forsale) - rolled down the driveway of it's own accord, weaved it's way around a few trees before hitting a big tree square on - write off - insurers paid out £1000 over the sale value
2) MR2 - stolen from train station - again was up for sale...
Things change fast in this hateful insurance world of ours , our postcode criteria is always under review as well.. If we can help, we do, if we cannot, we apologise and often suggest alternatives.
Good to hear, thanks for your business and feedback.
I am just at the end of a PM if you have any queries and I've passed this on to my colleague Sam
Thanks again and best wishes

With an agreed valuation, yes. You get the full agreed value back minus policy excess. This something we can offer but usually for limited mileage, second cars, eg we woudn't offer this for a smokey old Phase 1 doing moon mileage each year.
