as the 16v is getting on a bit things will go wrong (like most cars of that age)
when you go to buy one, check that it has service history, bills & that all work carried out can be proven NEVER take any ones word for any thing,
the rear arch rust can be a problem, if not done properly it will...
oh yes mate !!!
ive had mine for 2.5 years & will miss it when i sell it.
as with any car get bills & proof of any work done etc, as valvers are getting on a bit now.
get the tax & mot mate, then put it up for sale,
as no one in their right mind would touch a car without an mot (well i deffo wouldnt) also tax helps to sell it.
yes mate, i think so.
gutted for ya mate on your news, glad your ok though.
Can you not think of a way of making it his fault (we know it is) its just just if the insurance decide to try & blame you for it.
Dave, you stick to your guns, dont let them have you over mate.
If it were me, id be asking if the person whose responsible for the car park security would like to stand & guard my car.
They are having a laugh & i bet it would be different story if it were their car !
if it were me, id put a reserve on it (otherwise you may not get the price you want)
also it may be with saying that you reserve the right to end it & any time.
also tell them that they can look at it before the auction finishes (just in case some one wins it & is funny about it when they see...
i would advise against putting your mobile in the ad, let them e mail you for it if they are genuine (in the decription tell them to e mail you any question & then give them your number if they ask for it)
also say that no canvassers etc in the ad.
lastly if its for asle elsewhere, tell them that.
speak to glenn (the dude with the black willy converted valver) on this one, i remember him saying that hed never do it again, he said hes shaying on 15s & that 17s were awful.
easy as mate, pull of the centre bit where the badge is & there are allen screws undo those & it comes off, if you fit an after market one (momo etc) i think you will need a boss for it.
also the standard bus size one will fit back on after no probs.
Please note the mileage on this vehicle is subject to change as it is being used by a company director ... it all depends how stressed out he is, as to the abuse he gives the car & how far he travels doing it.
;)
sell yours first mate, as the dealer wont care about the work youve done to it, they will just see it as a K reg valver.
if you were to do a deal with them, they ought to give you the money & the car, not the other way around .
