I'd go for a standard one, unless you're running the high-boost conversion.
I had an "uprated" Group N clutch on my old 172. It was a f*cking nightmare! Either "on" or "off"
Horrible in traffic.
Depends. Do you just mean a hunting idle... of say 100rpm? Up and down?
Or is it over 1k rpm all the time?
If it's the latter, you could have a vacuum issue.
VTEC is nothing like poverty VVT. LOL
VVT on Clios is purely for low-speed drivability and emmisions regs., as people have said.
VTEC engines use separate cam profiles and lifters, and hydraulic/electronic control to manage the crossover. Renault's VVT is never "off"
It's not a TDC issue. It'd crank if it was, it'd just not fire. Same with the fuel cut.
Since your pump is definitely priming, try taking the fuel rail plug out and look if you're getting fuel to the rail on priming it.
RSTuning in Leeds are spot on. They can offer a remap.
Keep an eye on K-Tec's site, too. They're bringing a lot of goodies out for your engine, I think.
