removing power steering in a 172 cup?

Drove Adam's MK1 at Llandow with no pas, awful imo. Also drove a mk2 with no pas and DCI rack before. Not for me. As for the pump/line issues and gaining power etc, thats why we run a Saxo pump on the race car. the rack is stock 172 plumbed into the saxo pump. Has a very nice feel, id say...

    What Breakdown Cover??

Sometimes thats down to European law. Recovery companies now either have to have tacho fitted and comply with drivers hours etc or operate within a 100km radius of the vehicle base. Most choose to use 100km as its more cost effective. But therefore sometimes they have to swap trucks if they get...

We're does my clio have a pollen filter

The filter (old vs new) from my 3 year old Mondeo with full service history. Mechanic at the dealer must have stacks of the things in his tool box. Its inside the car and have to take part of the fuse box down to get it out, can see why they didnt bother

    172/182 alternator help please

Cup (non aircon) alternator has the mounting points directly opposite each other, like symetrical. The aircon one has off set mounting points. Hope that makes sense

    Air con recharge

Yes they did vac it and at my request for over an hour. I know how it all works mate, was factory trained back in the '90's

    Air con recharge

Well my ac was working so i knew it didnt have a leak. A simple recharge was all i needed. They took out 350g of gas and put 550g back in. Was much colder after. Also cost me £35 back in the summer on a staff rate so £28 normal punter price is bargain
