yeah as alan says, let it really set before you attempt even a light polish. wax it to protect it for now then give it a light polish, then in a couple of months give it a PC

yeah put them in for the sake of looks, they remained disconnected for months until i thought about selling it. had them wired up for 35 quid, and the bulb for the warning light to show they are on has never been put in (have to check everytime i turn lights on). NEVER used them except for...
fitted these a while back, one led of the four went within a couple of weeks, rest eventually followed.
decided to go for the PIAA 1W leds, incredible light emitting bulbs, well worth the money!!

i did this, didnt make any difference chris mate tbh, its not heat resistant enough to with stand braking temps. just SRP then EGP them as im doing again this wknd. that protects them fine and makes them really easy to wash.
some also use rim wax and poorboys wheel sealent.
