get them fitted and sprayed by shop. mine were 50 off ebay, 80 for spraying and then 50 for fitting, but if you get it done together should be a bit cheaper.
jamie
got mine and had a go the other nite, looks great but there are still quite a few surface scratches, am i not using enough pressure? any ideas guys?
cheers blue btw, came super quick etc
jamie
think that was wightman mate not me, but if he doesnt have them i will :) how much fella?
any ideas on fitting or do K tec fit the 40mm kit?
medici PMd mate :)
jamie
nice, might have to order them. i know 1 and higher leds were around, mate talked about 5w ones, but never thought they were out and usable with standard circuits. thanks dink
jamie
yeah it never does on standard wings :dapprove: but looks ok in the flesh, needs some more silicone on it as the polisher took some of it off, looks a bit rougher than it did when first did it.
as in the title, got my PC for xmas and the cars finish is just astounding now, might need to play around with different pads and polishes . . . . but here it is after the following;
Megs gold wash
Dried with a microfibre towel from autopia, incredible and quick!!
Megs quik clay - not much...
i replaced my ph2 with a ph3 bumper and added the 172 grill, but i didnt take any photos as the next day i did this. . . .
but here is a photo shop i did to see what it would look like, plus colour coded, if this is any help :)
jamie
top one looks like it has Immis chromed wheels on. . . . . . if it is ever cleaned
not sure i would allow my wash mit to touch it though, maybe wash it with a wire cloth ;)
jamie
not the same mate, you have to shave the 172 down as the sport models have flared arches that link into the bumper and the side skirts as well (alot of money and even more for painting, but well worth it if you have the dosh!!)
i dont have the dosh, but this is how mine turned out with a bit of...
ah ok, the only reason im having a prob is that its new year etc and there is no delivery. so i need a shop to buy from and maplins only go up to 300. might have to find myself a proper electrics stockists or something of the sort.
many thanks for all the help guys, really appreciated
happy...
do i hear someone saying DIY lol :)
yeah mark is right about costs, probs 200 for the lot, since the more you ask them to do, the more they will bump off.
oh, and wish them a happy new year etc etc etc and big smiles, got me 20quid off a rear bumper spraying :)
actually wish i had a black...
btw its a PC polisher not a personal computer, sorry if that was misleading in the title :)
jamie
just re read it and it is confusing, sorry for that, i mean a porter cable polisher for a car.
okkkkk.. . . . . . so my piece of kit says 3.7 amps, and needs 110 volts, so i would require something in the region of 407 . . . correct? god i hated physics GCSE lol :)
cheers for this guys, very much appreciated!
jamie
does a front strut do anything at all?
friend does automotive engineering and was told that the clios suspension setup is so precise (hence good in the twisties :)) that a strut can cause problems??
jamie
haha thats what i want to do, but i dont want it to blow up since it is quite a pricey piece of kit (for a student anyways!!!). you sure that it will either just not run, or just run very slowly?? and not blow up :S (the transformer as well??)
