Im sure they would take even less kindly to a DVD release. Got a similar form from Anglesey, looks like no one will ever see the videos.
Will make sure the camera is in for the test session so at least we have some footage to show
not going to be either. to be alowed to have an in car camera you have to sign a disclaimer saying you wont post on youtube etc. £25,000 fine if you do. was going to risk it but the racing club advised not too. they are getting more strict and enforcing it apparently.

^ True dat. our made 170bhp with a rough map and no VVT. Also it ran fine on idle with the solenoid activated as there isnt enough oil pressure to advance it. Rev it and when it returns to idle its rough for a few seconds til the oil pressure drops then normal
So Brands is out of the way and taking everything into account it was a great day. The car was reliable and we organised ourselves and pit area well. Many things to improve on including the car setup.
The single lap in qualifying put us 20th but the fastest lap from the race was 1.1 seconds...
yea mandatory stop, have to get out of car close door then get back in.
Top 3 in qualifying were separated by 0.2sec (all ex Britcar Honda's)& were 1.5sec quicker than the car in 4th.

We need to dial out the understeer the new rubber has given us. Crazy how different it was to Combe. But everything else on the car worked as planned. No real need to do anything except fit a sump guard to keep the gravel out. I realy need some proper race boots tho, caught the throttle pedal...
Not as bad as I thought it would be tbh. If id not done my ARDS there id of struggled, at least i kind of knew the layout. By the end of the race I think I was hitting the apex's correctly. Was a struggle with the understeer. Had to counter steer in the middle of paddock a few times, Lol.

Yea Coastal Layout, we cant make it this weekend. There is a Pre race test the day before the race that we considered doing but its the cost plus having to leave very early to get there.
Weve got an extra practice session tho so we will both have longer in the car
Sunday 9th May 2010 - Brands Hatch Tintops Race
A grey and overcast morning met us at Brands Hatch for our first race meeting.
We setup our area for the day and got the kettle on. With us for the day were our friends Bomber and Mike. They were a fantastic help throughout the day...
Might have to give me a day or 2 to get it all written up, photos uploaded and the video edited.
Was a great day, as Tony said the car has some understeer that caused a problem or 2 but nothing that can't be cured with a little bit of time.
Very happy with how we got on for our first time out...
