Tbh, i had one, and imo they are a bit of a gimick...... Used mine with a few good foams, and got the same results (not very good). Imo your better of with a prewash, then 2 bucket method etc.
Think so, whenever i'm in the passenger seat it always feels higher..... The vibration mounts are the black bits under the saet, you should be able to see if they are still there :)
Make sure the pollen filter isnt fekked, if its not changed regulary it can cause said symptoms
Also lol at the reading fail in here, pouring water on the windscreen, the op's problem is INSIDE ;)
No, obvious aint it?! :S
If i was coming down, and was say running late, i'd alway give a call to let you know whats going on, i'm nice like that see ;)
I've had a 197, got on arverage 27mpg....... Now got a 172 Cup, and get around 37. Think alot of the low mpg figures you get off guys on here is becaue they are mainly city cars. Most of my driving is A/B roads, and at least 20 miles at a time. I for certain dont nanny any of my cars. Once warm...
Hate them!! 197 sounds mint as standard, Renault got it bob on imo. My 172 up had a Ktec stealth fitted when i bought it (two weeks old too) It was off within the week, soooooo w**k! OEM ftw! I actually think the 172 lump sounds ok when pushed, quite gruff when worked, nice note change at 5k too.
Not imo. Longs its a good quality brand, any fully synth should suffice. I've never had no probs. I used to always use Silkoline stuff, but its like piss, not worth it imo.
i think it'll all plug and play. Uses the same Resistors on steves 200, as my 172, so to me that says it uses the same airbag parameters etc. There may be a small mod to the hub of the wheel to the cancel pins, they were longer on the 200 wheel. Nothing a file couldnt sort imo!
Not too bad, considering how much a 182 one is. I *might* look into it if i get bored of my Sabelt one. The wheel is awesome on the 197. When we offered up that 200 Cup item on my 172 the wheel from the 200 fit inside the 172 one!
+1, you could have a really nice sorted motor for 7-8k without any of the hassle of running a standard NA with a Turbo conversion. Proper can of worms imo. Dont think i've ever seen one on here without some kind of running fault?
Yes i have. Both 2L Turbos....... Insurance if PROPERLY declared would be the similar i'd have thought. Then you have all those gearbox replacements......;) Least an evo/scoob can take the power, 182's cant if this place is anything to go by.........
This is why loads of people get p**sed off with their Clios being noisy hard and rattly though. Keep it pretty stock and it *shouldn't* be hard to live with. This is why i always keep the running gear pretty stock. Last thing you want is a droney annoying zorst or cold stripped interior when...
