Exactly. The point in the video when I said 'I don't like that'...I had it moving, I had control, I needed throttle to keep it moving and bring it out...but the DSC just killed it.

Agreed, to a degree. I did qualify my post with the fact those times were around Goodwood which, once you know it, is very much a power circuit. I think that played into the hands of the ST...around somewhere more technical I think the Cup would edge the ST, just.

I needed 230bhp in my mk7 Fiesta ST to match my best stripped semi-slick time in my Clio 172 Cup around Goodwood. Standard v standard I think little would seperate them.

You've done Bedford before? Many times? Have they? All things being equal pretty much as said above, you'll struggle, but if you're a veteran around there and for them it's their first time on track, you should destroy them. That's the two extremes...so anywhere inbetween really!
