You might struggle with the hazard switch due to the phase 2 having a UCH controling it. The phase 2 has only 3 wires and the phase 1 like 8 or something.
I took the easy route and kept the phse 1 switch
Just use it to connect the normal battery wires to the new one going to the battery. You earth it near the battery.
It may take a while but if you read through my project thread there will be loads of pics etc
If its going in the boot you will need 0wg cable. Its a long way from the engine back there. Didnt work too well when I did it. I used a BMW junction (Helps make the connections under the bonnet and gives you a jump start point should you ever need it)
I now have a non-spillable battery...
Re: PH1 172 Track Car, abit special *ITB update*
Meh, you boys got ABS tho, looks like you need traction control too. ;)

Imps are rear engined. The engine is all aluminium and normaly 900-1000cc. They can be tuned very easily to produce good power. I dont know much about them, im not THAT old.
Yea as Dan says at Mallory its a pass on the right rule, makes sense as the slower car doesnt have to pull off the line, just slow down a little. Normally at a track day if you havent been breifed then you dont go out on track. Here it was voluntry by the seam of it. At no stage did we have to...
Thanks Rich, nice to meet you and 1PBY too.
Before Mallory I changed the front pads, as a quick fix soloution to try and get the brake balance a little better. The Greenstuffs that came out had not coped well at Bedford, the brake pedal going a little soft and the brakes stinking half way...
