I do 20-25k a year and i ended up buying an old petrol. To get a nice Diesel which is reliable costs upwards of 6-7k. My 328 cost 2800 i think and has been hassle free for 40k. I would save £1200 a year by going for diesel and have a risk of engine probs.
My only worry is modern BMW diesels. If the timing chain goes then its a big bill.

20k on a brand new Clio is a lot. There's a lot more technology than the older cars so I can understand the price difference from previous models. But for someone who doesn't buy cars on finance/ pcp its a lot of money.
Review looks great. I really want one, but 20k is ludicrous for a Clio. There are plenty of amazing cars for alot less 2nd hand. Ill wait till it it reaches 8k in a few years.
