Hmmmmm if its plugged in, i'd get a new ariel base. I had similar propblems in my old Cup. New base was the only thing that cured it. The wire is run down the rear pillar, then down the sill trims, so not that hard to do. Makes me wonder what has happened to your car..... new boot etc? Maybe the...
Ive had a 172 cup, 182 cup packed, and now a 197. Sister has just got a RB 182 cup packed. Came home sunday morning in the 197.... the 197 was 'on it 'by they way, the noise, gearbox etc :) Picked up the 182 for some work at Birchdown. By jumping out of the 197 straight into the 182 a few things...
Sounds about right!!! I gave them both three good coats, but was probably a bit trigger happy :o So what would you recommend? Last coat of basecoat (dry for how long?) Then a few good coats of clearcoat say 20 mins apart?
Silver is by far the easiest colour to maintain, but never looks super clean/glossy. The reason i fecked off my BG 182 was the colour....... As said, when PC'd it was minter than mint, but you can't just wash and go ;) It turns into a mini detail every time. No matter how careful you are, it...
Another Q about laquer....... just done some mirror caps in Black Gold. One of them has come out bob on, (well fekin awesome for a rattle can job tbh) but on the other morror, the laquer had two milky shadows in it. On closer inspection they look like tiny air bubbles. Had to flat it back and...
Think of it like this. Renault made a Clio 182 (no options), a 182 with Cup packs, and a 182 Cup. Now on CS a 182 is a ff :S, 182 with cup packs is also a ff:S, and then a 182 Cup. ;)
AC is sort of like what you have in a standard car, ie you have the fan speed, heat, and direction dials. With these you have a AC button that you press. So in effect, you have to still do it all manually. Climate is fully digital. You have no dials on the dash, just buttons. Climate can work...
Same here. Had a set of Gaz for my 172 Cup. Lasted a month. Went through x2 rear dampers (seals failed), they are noisy, clunky and ruin the car. I replaced them with some H&R's, and they were in a different league. If you value the ride quality with a nice drop, H&R all the way. I like em so...
SRP/EPG is hard to beat value wise imo. I gave the 197 a clay/srp, then x2 egp, and it came out fekking awesome!!! Works so well on Albi Blue imo. My prefered combo tbh.
Right. Bets bet is, first swap the bulb out of the faulty light, into the good light. If good light side now goes dull, its the bulb. if not, its the ballast. Ballast is the box under the headlight ;)
.... and no its wont be under warranty lol, its over 3 years old, and wasnt even fitted to...
With the Maxogen kit, it comes with a blank to seal off the hole left by the original airbox pipework.... Seen here,
Keeps the heat away from the Maxogen inlet ;)
My money would be on it being removed for an oil change, then wound back on too tight. Then with all the vibration/heat from the engine, it sheared the studs
You'll stuggle to go much lower with MK3's tbh.... the underbody sits much lower than the MK2's. The MK2 bumper is lower/deeper than the MK3 also, thus giving a lower stance from the front ;)
