    YOkoham Parada's for track

makes prefect sense. As you say road tyres just cant take the abuse of the high speed cornering. Ever used the hankooks in the wet Jon? Im thinking of R888's if its dry and RS2's for the road/very wet track

    Battery and ECU relocation

I did this for Quade the other day on his cup. http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=368676 To get a bit more space by the ecu you can take out the lower bolt nearest the engine and move the hole bracket back towars the bulkhead.

Nice project, loads of hard work going in. Fair play to you bud, the finished item may not be up to everyones taste but at least it will be how you want it and as you have said the knowlege you will build up is worth its weight.

Show me ur black ph2 172's

imo you would be better off getting either a bigger car for the second one or a cheeper to run one (ie, small engine/cheaper tax etc)

    Cambelt tensioner

maybe you re just not trying hard enough. you will feel some resistance as you move the tensioner, then all of a suddent it will move and you will see the notches move. if that makes sense, not easy to explain
