Bear in mind you could sell your OE 182 wheels and tyres for a fair whack, thus funding the smaller 2118's and smaller, cheaper tyres.

Hmm. On a 1.4? I wouldn't bother. But if you do, tyres, suspension and brakes will be of far more benefit than tiny amounts of extra power.

The top section of the belt cover is also the offside engine mount.
You'll need to support the engine from below, then remove the cover.
I jacked the lump up from under the subframe, so i could get the belt off in situ. The engine needs to come up on the offside to give you room.
