As for the discs Russ i dont think its down to cheep discs as ive see oe ones do it. just something they do imo
Trust me, with ignition on and engine off the battery light WILL be on.
If its turning normal then its something else. If it was battery/alternator related then it wouldnt turn properly due to low voltage.
there is a guide somewhere to putting a remote receiver in the rear window. I didnt have proiblems with my pda picking up gps but it wasnt the best signal.
Very popular mod in the usa it seems. They put Nissan Silvia rear axle in them apparently.

See if you can find a second hand MSV cage made by 'Caged' They bolt in on existing holes and will fit over trim panles etc.
There was one being sold by a cs member on ebay last week
