Not sure why this is news...don't all rechargeable batteries require a period of conditioning before they realise their full potential? Always thought it was standard practice with a new device/battery to run it through several complete charge/discharge cycles. My Samsung still lasts 3 days...

I liked the rattling/clanking when I had mine. Stopped as soon as they got up to temperature on track...seems to me that they expand and fill the calipers properly.

Yup, if you yank it open quickly it senses the door is open just before the alarm is deactivated so beeps to let you know the car's been breached.

If it's 51-plate it's almost guaranteed to not be a Cup...I don't think they started being registered until 03 (although there may be the odd 52-plate Cup out there).
