Saw Saner's petrol blue in the metal at the airfield meet yesterday. Anyone who judges this colour from a picture should see it for real, very nice imo. Its joined my fav list Racing blue (in fisher price missile spec) Flame red petrol bue 197 blue LY is nice but couldnt live with it

This is probably going to confuse the issue but mine is the newer one and it sounds very similar to mark's. BUT the centre section gave up after the last airfield meet. (rattling, tacked not welded apparently) The replacement middle box was a different shape. I dissagree with the comments...

When i worked a Ford when we serviced the Transits we always used 15w40 grade oil as the other stuff we had was far too thin. Then we got hold of some 10w30 and the difference in engine performance was huge. I know im talking about 75hp diesel vans but thought it might help

when we went before to see them at the NIA in birmingham they were handing out ear plugs at the door. Some poor kids near us had there fingers in there ears. they eventualy announced you could get tham at the merchindise (sp) stand. Dunno if they were free tho.....

Ive just changed them on my Ph2 172 and they were in a very poor state. The car has done about 52k but im not sure if they were the original fit. Anyone know what make and type they are from factory? The ones i bought turned out to be identical but just want to be sure their correct.

Sould be fairly quiet on idle but sound sporty as the revs rise. Definatley too low tho. Cant see mine unless u get on ur knees
