No he didnt tell me. Not bothered either! my log book took ages, around 6 weeks. he forgot to give me the mot aswell and only got that after 3 phone calls asking if he could look for it. Bought it the last week in April, did a trad in with him so difficult to give a REAL price but probably...

My '02' plate is an import too. They all came out of the same factory. Only difference is it hasnt been "officaly" imported through Southampton, were all "uk spec" cars get treated to an alarm, locking wheel nuts and window etchings. After the car has left the factory. Big deal!

Someone posted on here recently a similar fault and it took out the cambelt, so probably been lucky. They were telling the truth about laws and having to change trucks. They came in recently. All recovery vehicles can only operate within a 100km (62 ish miles) radius of thier base, by eu law...

from what ive read on here a de-cat makes it significantly lounder/raspier.

yes it does quieten down (mine has) sounds even better now. probably done about 800-1000 miles on it. Mine sits a bit higher as well, cant see it at all.

i owned both, not alot of difference. got a 4gb in blue now. dont use it much tho
