Phase 2 standard 172 is slowest. the Cups are the quickest (172) no aircon to sap power, loss of 90kg too...... They always tend to make their power on R/R too. And them civic jordans.... 160bhp vtec aren't they? Would give a clio a close-ish go imo :)

I think alot of it is to do with the wheels. The ph 1 have 15's, and the oz F1's are pretty light compared to the 16" lardy 182 alloys.

why would you want one of them? Get proper 172 exhaust like a yozza etc, its not a 182, and will never look right.

I wouldn't bother myself. I'm pretty sure the clio badge on the boot is clipped in, ie there are two holes in the boot once its removed

i believe the 172 box suffers with some sort of circlip fault on the diff..... i'll try and find some threads for you
