I had the odd non start issue on my old 182.
Turned out to be the starter relay in the fuse box. (G) On diagram.
When it does it again, swap G relay with E and see if that does anything.
Lightweight flywheel is ok but the revs do drop quicker on the downchanges, so your rev-matching has to be on point to get smooth shifts.
Unless you're not arsed and just bang it down the gears 😂

Used ones going for £500-600k and buys his for £230k, so he's saying he's essentially got £270-330k to spend fixing it.

Also worth checking he's still got the heat shield over the starter too.
Sure it will have as he's had it from new.

Yeah piano black trim is notorious for easily scratching/showing marks.
If you do manage to polish it up and want to keep it mint, you're best off PPF'ing it.
