    Should be yeah. The code for the cat is probably due to the car running rich, that will flag a code because eventually it would be enough to damage the cat.

    Yeah 100% It relays the readings to the ECU to allow for fuel corrections. You might notice a reduction in fuel/MPG too.

    Bank 1 Sensor 1 is the sensor before the cat. Check the wiring, if that's not melted or anything then it's likely a dying sensor.

    If they're not M10, they'll be 7/16ths UNF which is a common size for seat/seatbelt fixings.

    They can be a snug fit, sometimes catching a little bit on a burr on the first lip on the axle. I usually give them a gentle rock side to side as it goes on.

    There's a guide on here on how to change the fluid by having the engine running and it'll pump the fluid out as you pour new stuff in.
